Dr Tian Chen

General Member


Dr. Tian Chen is an engaged anthropologist, intercultural educator, and creative entrepreneur. He earned his PhD in Anthropology from the University of Cape Town, where his research focused on the impacts of China’s cultural globalisation in Africa. Currently, he serves as the Communications Strategist for the World Anthropological Union, collaborating internationally to establish a global platform for anthropology. Additionally, he co-founded Wubuntu, a startup based in Cape Town and Hong Kong dedicated to fostering intercultural empowerment among African and Asian youth.
